Capability enhancement
We provide all types of training support for clients designed to enhance their capabilities of clients in defining requirements, designing and implementing online decision analysis systems or in effective use of systems.
Management training includes an introduction to strategic decision-making and the role of decision analysis in this process. This is designed to assist managers identify critical decision areas in their business and to structure their analysis and requirements in the form of a decision analysis model. This helps manageemnt communicate in clear terms their requirements to operational and ICT groups within the company. The approach to critical decision areas includes resource allocation analysis and the relative sensitivity of corporate performance to different factors which influence the outcome of decisions. Some of these factors can be controlled by management whereas others cannot. Operations We support management's need to assess performance sensitivity to different processes within a company by providing training at operational division levels on how to structure operational process descriptions in technical, economic and financial terms. These descriptions can then be used as components of the corporate decision analysis model. ICT staff Information & Communications Technology staff are trained in the conversion of decision analysis models shaped by management and operations levels into workable scripts which will run on a server. ICT training includes a review of the language capabilities making use of ECMA and ISO core standards (ECMAScript, Javascript), a full training in scripting for web applications as well as the setup and management of servers for the operation of server-end scripts. This training includes the use of authoring systems, evaluation in demo mode and the publishing of scripts on servers. Customers Sometimes clients wish to bring customers up to speed during the process of development of a decision analysis system. We can produce technical support for customers through web interfaces which have the look and feel of the customer corporate web products. We can produce customer support training including management of systems for upgrades and regular maintenance. Once a system is rolled out we can continue to provide technical support until the customer decides to provide this service through their own trained staff. ![]() |
